Joined just to say thanks for the update! Moved from 1.8.9 to 1.11.2 a couple days ago. It's unfortunate (though not surprising considering the age of 1.11.2) that my other mods aren't up to date but that's not your fault.

Some people do appreciate the effort you put in so thanks again.

Skipping 1.10? I feel like 1.11 will end up just like 1.8 and 1.9 did. So if you are skipping 1.10,you are just saying "Find alternative". Good,I will leave Buildcraft behind just like I did with Thermal Expansion.

Have the types as tabs, exactly like the creative menu. Recycle the graphics FTW. Storing maps, lists, etc is also a cool idea, maybe books too? Could help facilitate copying various kinds of the more data-y items between worlds.

Also, could we get a way to import / export from clipboard or copy pasting?

A mechanism to select an area and replace block x with block y
  • mark out an area like usual and place a builder
  • instead of placing a blueprint or template, you place the target block
  • It scans the area for the target block, and makes a temp in-memory blueprint of it (every other block is air, excavate turned off)
  • Replace the target block with the desired block (whatever is in inventory) or a specified block (second slot next to target block)
  • From here do everything the builder normally does, using the in-memory blueprint instead

use cases: In 1.7.10, a quarry can get jammed between the initial clearing phase and the mining phase if sand / gravel falls into the area. A replacer could be used before hand to replace sand and gravel with cobble, and then place the quarry and it will not be interrupted.

Can also be used for machines. You build a smelter with cobble pipe when you first start up. Later you have extra gold and want to upgrade it. Select the area with landmarks, put down the builder, place cobble pipe in the first spot, and gold pipe in the second and give it a bunch of gold pipe.

Hi,

if I recall correctly Direwolf20 made, some time ago, one of his playthroughs in which he initially used a BC Delivery System. Typically in his videos he gave a world download for each 10 episodes or so to show his progression.
I know that maybe you are not playing with his DW20 pack but you could still download it and use the world-download-save as a reference.
